The KTX Library

Introduction

libktx is a small library of functions for creating KTX (Khronos TeXture) files and instantiating OpenGL® and OpenGL® ES textures from them.

For information about the KTX format see the formal specification.

The library is open source software. Most of the code is licensed under a modified BSD license. The code for unpacking ETC1, ETC2 and EAC compressed textures has a separate license that restricts it to uses associated with Khronos Group APIs. See License for more details.
